Our client is a Charitable Trust providing Free Tiffin Services to the elderly people in their area and other charitable activities. To fund their activities, they receive donations from various donors. They issue receipts to the donors towards their contribution.

Challenges  

• The Donation receipt is made manually by filling in the details of the donors like Name, Address, contact no, Identification Number etc. on a preprinted receipt book consuming lots of time.
• The receipts are then entered in to accounting package periodically managed by their accountant leading to duplication of work.
• At the end of the year, they make an excel file containing details of the donation received to upload to Form 10BD which is again a very tedious process considering there are approximately 2000 receipts during the year.
